You should ensure that your nominated occupation is listed on Australia’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and that you meet the eligibility for visa subclasses 482, 186 or 494.
Receive a formal offer of employment from a recognised Australian employer who is approved to sponsor you in the visa application process.
The employer applies to be approved as a standard business sponsor and to nominate you for the employment role.
